Sylvia Lam’s De-Conversion Story
“When I was 3 years old, I was sent to a Catholic church in Vietnam. I spent everyday from morning to evening with the nuns taking care of me. It was a religious day care center. I was there for about 1 year. After that I grew up being Buddhist in America. In middle school I began denying the idea of God and religion. I became agnostic. Then about last year I finally confirmed as an Atheist.
“It was a long journey. My perspective of myself and life drastically changed. I went through a depression. But gladly got out of it. Life became so much more beautiful since then.”
