Thank you, DarkMatter2525, for asking my question in your great “The Thing That God Can’t Do” video!

I stumbled upon this after being recommended to DarkMatter2525‘s other videos.

Seriously, Christians, if you believe God’s omnipotent, then you must believe he could just forgive. Yet so many times, so many of you have told me, with a straight face, that he can’t. And when I ask you to explain why, your reply is usually some kind of bullshit circular logic.

If God can’t forgive, he’s not omnipotent, and therefore not a god. If God can forgive, but chooses not to, then he’s petty–no better than any of the rest of us–and therefore not a god.
